Groundhogs day is celebrated on February 2nd each year. The legend says if the ground hog sees his shadow he will be frightened by it and we will have 6 more weeks of winter and if he does not see his shadow we will have an early spring. It is all up to Punxsutawney Phil…and if you ask me he is sometimes more reliable than the trained weather forecasters
