What is the meaning behind St. Patrick’s Day…..Well, basically St. Patrick’s Day is the Roman Catholic day of feast for Ireland’s patron saint, St, Patrick, who died in the 5th century. Ironically, St. Patrick was not born in Ireland, but in Great Britain. It is celebrated every year on March 17th in honor of St Patrick who has been said to be the one who converted the Irish to Christianity in the 4th century. He was also said to be the one responsible for driving the snakes out of Ireland. Filed under: March
