Today is national waffle day…I personally love waffles…well…blueberry waffles. I like the Aunt Jemima but there is nothing like making your own waffles from scratch they are just delicious. I am getting a little depressed….summer is coming to a close it seems even though there is still a month left. But if feels as though it just started because it was only 1/2 way through July that the weather started to feel like summer. And now the kids will be back at school. It is almost apple picking season…and I can not wait to start eatting all of those fresh and seasoned apples. They are just so healthy for you and it is not just the apple and the juices but the skin is extremely healthy for you and you should not be peeling the skin but rather eatting it. This month is eye health month and it is a great time to set all of those appointments before the kids go back to school. I think that I spend most of my summer int he doctors or the dentists or the eye doctors trying to make and fit in all of those appointments before school starts! I am all doctored out!
