Amazon Problems
Posted on 08.30.07 by holiday @

Personally, I like to shop online for the holiday season. But I am getting a little upset with Amazon lately. I think that the shiping is just way to much. I only like to buy things when I can find the great prices and the free shipping. I mean I just can not stand to pay in shipping. But I guess sometimes you have to. It is like paying for the gas to the mall I suppose. But still sometimes it is just plain ridiculous!

Planning
Posted on 08.30.07 by holiday @

Now is the time to plan what you are going to be wearing for that fun Halloween party. You want to make sure that you get hte costume that you really want. And it has to be different from last year. Here is the thing…sell last years costume to help cover the cost of the new one..or trade with a friend that has one that you really like. You do only wear it once a year so if you can save money then do so.

School Days
Posted on 08.29.07 by holiday @

They have been advertising for school since July. And I know school is not a holiday but it relaly sort of is. It is like a season because there is just so muchstuff and hype. I think that there should be a holiday called the first day of school..and we should all get a day out of school :) That would make for a great first day of school…although I guess it would not be the first day then…right ?

Holiday

I just love the holiday season and in one month it will be upon us…the leaves with be falling and it will be getting colder and the holidays will just be here before you know it. And personally, I just love putting up my ornaments and holiday decorations early even my outdoor holiday decorations. I put them up around Veterans Day because I do take them down pretty much right after New Years Day. The thing is to shop early and shop now for the greatest and best deals on great decorations that are just a must for the holidays. And decorations really do get people in the holiday spirit and most of the time in just a really good mood!

Santa Quarters has great traditional as well as modern day holiday figures like Mickey Mouse, Peanuts, Winnie the Pooh and do not for get the Grinch! They also have great artificial trees, ornaments, garland and lights to just name a few. I much rather have an artificial tree because in the long run they are just so less expensive and there is really no clean up afterwards and the ones on this site are just absolutely beautiful and they have a great selection by size and type. And do not forget those wreaths that go on the doors – you can keep them up for the entire winter if you ask me!

Now is the time to get all that stuff so that you do not have to worry about it later when everyone is shopping and trying to get stuff. In fact, I do most of my holiday shopping in the summer and early fall months!
