Happy Fathers Day! I hope all the fathers out there had a great fathers day today! I think the bests gifts are the ones that the kids make dad…you don’t really appreciate it completely until they are all grown up though. Kids are so cute when they make the home made cards and the best home made cards are when they come from your kids. So I hope every one had a nice day. You can get him flowers but why not a little something different along with flowers…men like flowers too I don’t care what they say. Everyone likes to get that delivery because it just shows them that they are being thought of and that is what everyone wants…they want to know that they are thought or and appreciated. And Fathers and Mothers are not always appreciated the way that they should be. We all have taken advantage of our parents and have taken them for granted and you only realize that you have done this once you become that parent and you have children of your own. Then you realize how much your parents actually did for you and how much you do for your kids but you don’t get any thanks in return. You don’t really expect it but once in a while…once a year since there is a day for you it would be nice to be thought of. My sister in law just got married and they had gotten matching women’s and Mens Wedding Bands - they looked really nice. I had wished that me and my husband had did that. We didn’t do anything like that … we never even got each other wedding day gifts and my sister in law did that as well. Her husband likes to golf with my father in law so she got him some Golf Apparel … golf balls that said “World’s Best Husband”…very cute and she got a gift card to her favorite store. Not much thought went into that one but he’s a guy right…and now he is married so he doesn’t even have to try anymore I thought that was kinda sweet though. My wedding band is just all banged up and knicks all over the place. They were not the best or quality bands…what we should do is go out and get some anniversary bands and make them matching and really nice so that they can actually last! What are you planning on getting your Mother for this mother’s day…because it is coming up quick and you have to get her something!!! Did you ever think of getting her something like Baby Phat Clothing this would make for a great and very fashionable gift in my opinion because they have some of the hottest and most up to date trends. Every mom needs that sassy and sexy piece of clothing that makes them feel stylish and up to date. And why not!! We don’t always have to dress like the typical mom…in sweats or in those baggy jeans. Today is stepmothers day…I guess they are not included in the traditional mothers day. It is kinda weird though because it is on a Thursday and not like a Sunday like the normal mothers day is. I had never heard of this and I don’t think that it is practiced all that much. I think most people celebrate mothers day for all mothers…step, grand and great. What are you thinking of getting your mother? Flowers and candy is always nice but how about a nice piece of jewelry nicely placed in the flowers. That would really make her smile. And if you have children then husbands….do not forget your wife. Because even though they are not your mother - they are the mother of your children so you had better remember this day for them. Mother’s do more than you could ever imagine. They put their lives on hold indefinitely for their children. They are taken for granted and under appreciated so this is their day…make it a nice day and get that jewelry that she would really like whether it is tungsten rings or a nice pendant for her necklace.
