For the month of October the official birthstone is the opal and the official flower is the snapdragon. However, there is another birthstone for the month of october and that is the Tourmaline – that is the gemstone and it is pink. Today is Mad Hatter day! it is a referance to Alice in Wonderland of course…I was actually just watching that movie this week because my kids just love it. I find it rather disturbing…she’s big she ‘s small she’s big again and there is too much eatting of mushrooms and things that make hallucinate. So, this week is national carry a tune week. Even if you can not carry a tune it is just fun to sing. Sing in the car, sing in the shower, sing anywhere…because it really makes you feel good and feel happy regardless of how good or how bad your may sing. So, it is October…Happy October! I just can not even believe that it is October. I know a few people whose birthdays are today – so it is a happy birthday day to may of my friends.
