Did you know that this month is emotional wellness month. I think that every month should be this but this is a great month to keep this in mind. It is just good overall health when you emotional health is where it should be. I am not very emotional well lately. A little off my rocker actually because of my finances. So I have to put things in perspective and try to get some wellness in my life. Filed under: October andWeird Holidays and Observances Comments: None |

Today is national UNICEF Day. Today is a great day to make sure that you made that fabulous contribution for a great cause. I remember when I was little doing alot through my school with this but that is not the case it seems anymore. Although I do get the bags on my mailbox so that I can give food for the boy’s and the girls scouts to collect. Remember to give to UNICEF this year…you can do so through your supermarkets also. Did you know that the National Organization of Women was founded in 1966…did you even know the National Organization of Women even existed? Well today is the day to remember it, learn more about it or even learn what it is at all! Basically you proably can figure out what it is all about and what they stand for. If you are a woman and you are very liberated and call yourself a femanist then you must learn more about this organization because it could be perfect for you. Today is a super yummy day! It is national Chocolate day! I love this day…it is just another excuse to go on out and get that favorite chocolate bar. And what person does not like chocolate. I love dark chocolate personally. I think it is healthier too. I don’t like all things that are chocolate. Some people are chocoholics – my sister is like that. I like chocolate though – maybe not on a daily basis but if I see a piece of chocolate in my fridge – I’ll eat it! Filed under: October andWeird Holidays and Observances Comments: None |
