It is summer time and many people just love to go out to their boats and go sailing. I don’t have a boat but my father in law use to have one. I love this new site…Snapbomb! What a great way to make a little extra money…start saving up for the holidays because we are more than half way through the year which means that those holidays are going to be coming up very quickly. I would love to go to a game…I find it exciting to watch a good game of tennis. Some people think it is boring but to each their own right! Wimbledon has always been an exciting game. If you love tennis then you probably already know that. My first boyfriend who I actually had all through high school loved to play tennis. Every other Christmas for 6 years we would get each other new tennis rackets and gear. Have you ever been to the Jade Theater in San Diego? There are just so many things to do in San Diego - you have the great nightlife to the zoos. And do not forget the great other attractions and the restaurants. I had been there around a decade ago so I am sure that it has changed a bit but it was great. It is really a great vacation to go on. We had got to Disney too but if you go to California San Diego is a place you have to check out. I was in college when I went so it was great fun because we also went to the clubs…completely different than I was use to. It was really great and just so much fun. These are memories that really will last me a lifetime. You only are young once to so we had our share of fun in San Diego. Today is also officially Beer Day - March 1st 2008! Lets see….the last time that I had light beer was the summer of 2006. We had a few get together picnics with my family and one of my relatives got a case of beer and we just all sat around drinking and having a really great time. Especially in the evening - it was nice and it was a beautiful day. Not too hot and the bugs were not out bugging us! I believe it was Bud Light we all were drinking. I am not normally a beer drinker but once in a great while it is kinda fun to have at a summer party. My husbands brand of choice is Sam Adams…he loves that stuff! My husbands father loves beer…and at their picnics he has 3 or 4 choices of light beer and regular beer. He prefers the lite beer. So if you like your beer…today is the day to drink it…and in a couple of weeks it will be St. Patrick’s day…another day to enjoy your beer! Have you heard of IZEARanks.com. Basically it is a tool that will rank bloggers but not the way Google has done it in the past and has been very unfair in doing so in the past. They will base your rank on the actual traffic and influence. I think this is a much fairer way to rank a blog rather than the way Google has been banning bloggers - bloggers that are not even doing anything wrong besides! I am really hoping that page rank is just done away with because Google is just taking advantage of their power on the Internet at the little businesses and small guys expense. My mother first told me about this and I signed up right away just to see what my RR would be. You just put a javascript on your site and it will give you all the statistics of your real rank. And now they are giving away $1000 every week in February to the blog with the $1 real rank - kinda cool. I won’t be getting it but some lucky blogger with that is for sure! I am tired of Google quite frankly - they had a good run but they are just too greedy….afraid the little guy is going to take some of their profits…Real Rank is the new and upcoming thing on the net and I can not wait until it completely and totally takes over…dominating over the conventional and highly unpredictable PR of the past. Well the holidays are over and I am sure there were a lot of banquet halls and conference centers that got rented so that companies and people could have their holiday parties. Have you heard of the new movie - The Mist by Stephen King. It is a new suspense thriller … and it does seem to be just that. I am not one for suspense or thrillers so when you put them together it makes for a very stressful and scary movie…which is exactly what some people just love to view…and if this is the case then you have to be sure to catch this movie when it comes out. I actually just went to view the trailer for this movie and I have never quite been in a threatening situation with others quite like this…and hope I never would be. I have been stuck actually not even stuck but in a Kmart when the power went out and it was a little scary to say the least but there was no mist or weird creatures that forced us to stay in the stores. I just put my stuff down and left. I went back the next day to finish my shopping. I was with my mom…and she was little hysterical…but I tried to assure her it was just a power outage because it was quite stormy outside. I always knew that she was a paranoid person that freaks out at every little thing…so this just showed her true nature to the others around us…luckily know one that she knew If this is something you think you or a friend would like to see then be sure to catch it in the theaters on November 21st! This show is really captivating and I enjoyed watching it as well as wanting to watch the next episode. It is a teen drama and although I am not a teen anymore I am just one to like those type of shows I guess…maybe because I am a product of the teen television shows It is a drama that was created by Josh Schwartz who is also the creator of another show that I loved to watch, the O.C. It is actually based on a novel series by Cecily von Ziegesar. The premice is that Gossip Girl revolves around the many lives of the young adults growing up on New York’s Upper East Side. They atten and elite school and of course have to still deal with the pressures and teen problems of sex, drugs and so forth. It is narriated by the voice of Kirsten Bell who is the omniscient character “Gossip Girl”.
