This is the month for polka music. If you like polka music then enjoy the month of January. My grandfather just loves polka music and when I would go over there he would always have it on and make me try to play it on the organ. Polka music is quite catchy too. This month is dried fruit month and what a great time of the year to start eatting healthy. they are not only healthy for you but they really fil lyou up when you are looking for that healthy snake. Today is Festivus…a holiday that was invented because of the fabulous show Seinfeld. When that show first came out..oh my goodness..it was just so hysterical. This month is national handwashing awareness month. It is always a great idea to teach young children to wash their hands after and before eating and going to the restroom. And it is so much better than using that purell – simply washing your hands with soap and water will get rid of the germs that cause illnesses!
